Shandaken Project at Storm King is situated on the Storm King grounds, but at a significant remove from public areas. Residents are offered access to Storm King Art Center during the hours it is open to the public.

Residents are housed in one of three available bedrooms in a large house facing a suburban street, with a sizeable meadow sloping toward forest in the rear. They are provided with a kitchen setup and invited to harvest from a communal kitchen garden. The project provides basic internet, a land line for national calls, and all other standard utilities.

Each resident is given a private studio on the grounds. Electricity, water, and internet are available in the house, but not the studios.

The project owns some hardware and construction equipment that are available to residents by request. Please email for more information. The project provides at least one trip to the neighboring towns per week for errands and supplies.
